A scholarship, valued at $10,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student who identifies as a woman entering Year One in any program in the David R. Cheriton of School of Computer Science (excluding Software Engineering), wherein women are underrepresented. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% admission average), Admission Information Form, and contest scores as assessed through CEMC. This fund is made possible by a donation from Scotiabank with the goal to support women students who are studying Computer Science.
