Award description: 

The WatPD-Engineering program provides Waterloo Engineering students with background knowledge to help them effectively learn and develop professional workplace skills during their co-op work terms. Thirteen non-renewable entrance scholarships, valued at up to $4,000 each, acknowledge the Faculty of Engineering's commitment to the goals of the WatPD-Engineering program. The scholarships are awarded to outstanding students admitted to each program in the Faculty of Engineering (excluding Architecture and Software Engineering) who demonstrate academic excellence in their high school performance and the potential to thrive in professional skill development as assessed through the Admission Information Form.
