Award description: 

A scholarship, valued at $2,500, is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate student who identifies as a woman entering Year One of any program in the in the Faculty of Mathematics wherein women are underrepresented. Selection will be based on academic excellence, the Admission Information Form, and contest scores as assessed through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC). Preference to be given to students who have participated in Think About Math or Girls in Computer Science programs offered by the Centre for Education in Math and Computing. This fund is made possible by a donation from Elizabeth Spracklin to help young women entering the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science.
