The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) is a division of the Ontario government responsible for the growth of the agri-food sector, enforcement & improvement of food safety as well as the continuous sustainability of agriculture. This information session sheds light on the different research programs available to researchers from different academic backgrounds interested in innovative, interdisciplinary collaborations.
Especially for undergraduate and graduate students, the newly formed WatSAM (Waterloo Students and Microbiology) club will be hosting a panel of speakers from multiple disciplines who can tell you how microbiology impacts their field of work, answer your questions, and possibly spark a love for microbial research.
