The role of the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE) in SDGs

This presentation will provide an overview of WISE and its programs and initiatives relevant to SDGs, especially on SDG 7 regarding access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy.  Thus, WISE work and accomplishments on sustainable energy will be showcased, providing an overview of some of the research areas, events, and projects relevant to SDG 7.  In particular, WISE’s Affordable Energy For Humanity (AE4H) initiative will be described in some detail, including its scope, history, reach, and various relevant activities and programs focused on addressing global energy access issues.
