This 1.5-day hybrid workshop at the University of Waterloo will explore advances, opportunities, and challenges in geothermal energy development. The workshop focuses on the development and use of geothermal technologies in Canada to provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy. Researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, and community stakeholders from Canada and beyond are invited to participate in person or online.

Daniel Kammen is the James and Katherine Lau Distinguished Professor of Sustainability at the University of California, Berkeley, with parallel appointments in the Energy and Resources Group, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the department of Nuclear Engineering and a member of AE4H
program.
