The Affordable Energy for Humanity Global Change Initiative (AE4H) is a global consortium of researchers and practitioners committed to ending energy poverty through the sustainable deployment of clean technology.
AE4H brings members together on joint projects to scope and develop impactful, interventions, and through supporting student involvement, and other stakeholders in the energy access sector.

Transformative change through scientific and technical innovation is the most promising avenue to deliver on the vision of universal energy access. We are proud to bring together the worlds leading researchers to develop the suit of solutions that will deliver affordable, clean energy to every global citizen. Consistent with the vision of UN secretary, general, Ban Ki Moon - "energy is the golden thread that allows the world to thrive" - our specific challenge and objective is to provide clean energy that is affordable for all.

Energy's link to improved life quality is as clear as it is compelling. Harnessing the insides of existing expertise and the technological capacity for innovation at KIT and UW - in collaboration with leading institutions around the world – we remain confident that the next energy transition on a global scale is achievable. We strongly endorse, Professor Jatin Nathwani and Professor Joachim Knebel's leadership to advance this global change initiative. It will have a profound, positive impact on the lives of many.
