1) Password Policy
Password never expires and Change password at next logon does not work together. Set to userid and birthday for next term to accommodate ES. Webform to setup account and new system for next term. Password synchronization gives problems with MAC (Unix min 8 char, MAC max 8 char). Follow up later.
2) Password Synchronization in Math
works fine. Addpop will make sure that nexus passwords will be synchronized too. All faculties except Environment Studies (ES) are running password synchronization now.
3) Problems with Samba authentication and Nexus encrypted passwords
NTUser.pol, NTUser.ini and NTuser.dat need to be removed to remove the corrupted profile.
Be careful, this could potentially remove My Documents too
4) Polaris 2000 Domain
Hon will remove the domain shortly
5) GPO Naming Convention
Hon does a manual cleanup. Please make sure to stick with the naming conventions.
e.g. printer naming: Fac_printername
6) AHS - ahsfile and nexus
Runs okay. Need to do more testing in the very near future with true folder redirection, etc...
7) Other items
- AHS has problems with Eudora 5.1 crashing (according to Hon we might need to run SP2 to fix most problems)
- No ICQ and MSN on the Nexus Workstations.
