Gap deployment (Derek Kirkland IST)
- Onbase client is here to stay and content management system will not be replacing this
- problematic Active X component is being abandoned but there is still a Java component
- the latest Onbase version is more robust with how it uses Java. It won't be so dependant on a specific version of Java
- Daniel confirmed that every Nexus workstation has Java 1.7.
- deployment is scheduled for mid to late April 2009
- Derek solicited testers from the group
- software will be stored on Minarski

- rewritten entire Audit program, speed improvement
- new version of collecting script
- want to set up a tool that can display what software is on what computer
Arts update
- playing with Hyper V and had space issues
IST update
- upgrades to Firefox 3.0.7, Adobe Flash IE and Plugin 10.0.22.87 and Adobe Reader 9.1
Environment update
- working a lot with Hyper V
- installed System Center Virtual Machine Manager
Engineering computing update
- work being done on ESX and Vista
- there was an issue with a Science machine that was doing a DOS attack
- updating Audit
- upgrades to Common Nexus Applications
- servers experiencing end of term load issues
- Linux and Mac version of Emerg client have been created
AHS update
- GreenIT presentation to UCIST, a green computing sub-committee being struck
