- Tim has requested that all registrar podium machines get the same software. This will be implemented.
Software updates
- Daniel is working on new versions of I-tunes and Quick Time
- Daniel has finished packaging ONBase active X for the GAP project and will be pushed out next week.
Microsoft licensing
- Engineering has entered into some preliminary talks regarding licensing and costs for Microsoft products.
- More than 3000 FTEs makes most of the pricing cheaper.
Ad supported Microsoft products
- Erick commented that new computers may be coming out with an ad supported version of MS Word and Excel which have some reduced functionality.
End Point 11
- Hon upgraded the Nexus End Point server to 11.0.4202.75
- Eng, Science, Math and Environment use Engineering’s End Point server
- AHS and Arts use IST’s Endpoint server
- Hon suggests disabling and removing all of the extras from Endpoint before deploying
