Information items:
Ray – End of term update was discussed and the Norton Antivirus software was flagged as a problem. After applying the latest update of the virus definitions the software has substantially increased the time for all disk accesses, specifically the file manager (explorer) loading time increased from a second or two to over 20 seconds. The temporary solution is to remove the software until we can get the new version up (as long as there is no similar problem).
No agenda items were submitted so the meeting digressed into a discussion/clarification of various topics and since no one volunteered to be the temporary secretary the recorded minutes are incomplete.
