What to expect from Waterloo Ready - Engineering
Welcome to Engineering at Waterloo! Before you start classes in September, we want to help you get up to speed and feel confident that you’ve got the skills you need to be successful in your first year. Waterloo Ready - Engineering provides the tools and resources to help you do just that.
Math Readiness
All Engineering students have access to ALEKS PPL - an online program that will assess how well prepared you are for your upcoming math courses and provide you with an individualized preparation and learning module to work through. The program can help you to fill any gaps in your knowledge and be ready to succeed this Fall.
You are strongly encouraged to take the assessment as soon as possible. Doing so will help you to understand what gaps you may have and what you should do in the coming weeks to fill those gaps. Details on how to access ALEKS PPL have been emailed to you and can be found in your Waterloo Ready – Engineering LEARN course.
