Science Ready modules

Later in July, you'll gain access to your Science Ready modules through LEARN, the University of Waterloo's online learning management system. This is where many of your instructors will organize course materials, activities and assessments.

As part of Waterloo Ready, we've created modules to help you get ready for September. They will help build your skills and learn about resources available to you as a Waterloo Warrior. We encourage you to work through them at your own pace throughout the months of July and August to familiarize yourself with everything you need to know by September.

  • Module 1: Getting Ready: Welcome to the University of Waterloo
  • Module 2: Classroom Ready: Preparing yourself for learning in university
  • Module 3: Faculty Ready: Academic preparedness in Science
  • Module 4: Campus Ready: Campus services and resources to support your first term

We'll send an email with the information needed to access these modules following the Welcome to Science Live Session.

  • Select your courses for the fall 2021 term: Review your required courses and familiarize yourself with course selection. Course selection for new students is between July 5 and July 12, 2021
  • Confirm your transfer credits, if applicable: If you have high school transfer credits (e.g. IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement), A-levels, or CAPE unit 2 courses), now is the time to ensure you have sent your final grades to the Registrar’s Off
