LEARN is the University of Waterloo's online learning management system. This is where many of your instructors will organize course materials, activities and assessments.

As part of Waterloo Ready, we've created a LEARN module to help you prepare for September. We've designed it to help you learn about resources and to build your skills for Science at Waterloo. Check back as there'll be new content each week from the end of June to mid-August. While participating, you'll also get familiar with the platform you'll use for most of your online courses. Get a head start for September by signing in today!

Throughout the Waterloo Ready - Science LEARN module and discussion boards, you'll discover:

  • How to use our online systems (LEARN, Quest, Portal and more),

  • The differences between high school and university,

  • Routines and best practices for learning,

  • How to prepare for September and what to expect in the first six weeks,

  • Campus resources and supports,

  • Faculty specific hacks for success,

  • Academic preparedness, and

  • How to get involved.

Sign in to LEARN with your username@uwaterloo.ca email address and WatIAM password. You'll see Waterloo Ready - Science in your LEARN Courses and Communities. If you haven't set up your official uwaterloo.ca email through Office 365, you'll need to do so before accessing LEARN.
