A new review paper published by Dr. Grossmann, together with Dr. Michael Ross and Dr. Emily Schryer find no evidence that older adults are actually more vulnerable to fraud. See more under publications.

The article "Aging and Wisdom: Culture Matters,” [pdf] (Psych Science 2012)  won the 2013 Otto Klineberg Intercultural and International Relations Award from the Society for Psychological Studies of Social Issues (SPSSI)!

This summer started with a few awards for research in the Wisdom & Culture lab. Initial research on wise reasoning received the 2013 Association of American Psychology Dissertation Award (Div 20: Psychology & Aging).

Alex Huynh received the 2013 Brendan Gail Rule Award from the Canadian Psychological Association.
