Exploring STEM is a free, in-person program for girls and non-binary youth in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Join us to explore and learn STEM concepts through fun and engaging hands-on activities like building circuits or coding LEGO robots.

Design For All 2022

Cost for registration: $30 (Bursaries are available)

Program Location: Engineering 7 Building, University of Waterloo

Guides (Ages 9-11) are invited to the University of Waterloo to earn a badge awared by Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWIE). Complete all the requirements through fun and interactive activity stations led by university students and staff. In addition to completing the badge requirements, the guides will also engage with inspiring mentors who demystify the university experience and technology careers.

Explore the exciting field of engineering! Go ENG Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls to visit the University of Waterloo and learn about the wonderful world of engineering. Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.

WiE invites potential incoming female students to get to know your future peers and campus! 

Discover WiE is an overnight event where you will have the opportunity to hear from faculty and staff at Waterloo Engineering, meet current students, and learn about the support that University of Waterloo provides its female students. You will also meet some of your future female classmates! 

Code Squad Camp is a highlight event for grade 10 girls. This one week, overnight program creates a close-knit community of like-minded individuals working together to expand their knowledge of computer science and software development while preparing for a future career in any field. Applications are now open! 

The conference is an exciting opportunity for grade 11 girls to participate in hands-on workshops, explore the University of Waterloo, meet engineering students, compete in a design competition, and experience life in residence! 

This year's conference will be held April 27th to April 29th. Spots are limited to 50 female students. There are still a few spots available so apply as soon as possible!
