Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) is an LSAC-funded cross-institutional collaboration that invites post-secondary students to learn more about procrastination, develop effective habits, connect with one another, and make progress on their end-of-term to do lists.
The literature review can be a challenging and time-consuming component of a research project. Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) can’t write your literature review for you, but this workshop will explore and introduce GenAI tools you may use as supports in the literature review process. We will identify ethical, legal, and intellectual property pitfalls associated with GenAI use, and offer guidelines and strategies for productive, ethical, and appropriate use of specific GenAI tools for specific purposes at each stage of the research and writing process.
This interactive workshop is a collaboration between the Library and the Writing and Communication Centre is designed for graduate students who are working on a literature review as part of a project proposal, thesis or dissertation, or a standalone journal article. Bring your laptop with you to get the most out of the hands-on practice session during this workshop.
