For Advanced Careers: Engineering Graduate Studies

Demand for engineering professionals with specialized knowledge and skills has never been greater in both industry and academia. The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo has responded by offering a wide array of master's and PhD programs tailored to meet your needs, interests and lifestyle.

You can enrol in professional course-based graduate studies to pursue a master's degree in engineering (MEng), Management Sciences (MMSc), or Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET). Or, you can pursue a more traditional master's or PhD research-based program. Certificate and diploma programs are also available.

Choose from part-time and full-time study options. Some programs are offered online. Combined master's and PhD programs are also available. You may also be eligible for financial support.
