Changes to HR forms

To support the launch of the new Finance system, Unit4, the Human Resources (HR) team is revising all paper and on-line forms to display the new account code structure. The new forms will be available on the HR website the week of April 24. Employees will be advised to use the appropriate new form for all submissions after May 1. All forms referencing the old account codes will be removed from HR’s website at end of day Apr 28.

myHRinfo is currently unavailable to all users. Technical teams are further investigating the issue.

A new Workday is coming to Waterloo

A message from Human Resources and Information Systems & Technology

This past fall, HR and IST jointly led a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a solution to address the University’s need for a modernized upgrade to the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and payroll system. Currently, the University’s HRMS technology is supported by PeopleSoft HCM 9.1.

The start of the performance appraisal process is underway and listed below are the key dates for 2017:

Memo to all staff highlighting process for 2016 Annual Performance Appraisals

February 2017*

Staff and Managers meet to discuss performance and review the performance appraisal form

Deadline: March 17, 2017

As of September 1, 2016, an Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) through Homewood Health is available for eligible active employees and their dependents. To access EFAP, individuals can call 1.800.663.1142 or visit the Homeweb website.
