This talk will discuss the application of constraint programming to the problems of deciding when a team has qualified and, if not, what conditions must be satisfied in order for them to qualify. The decision problem will be a review of work presented at Canadian AI this year. The second problem is new and ongoing work. Determining the conditions where a team can qualify is a more difficult problem due to a relaxation of the dominance constraints. This problem is modeled as a constrained optimization problem and some preliminary results will be shown.
