ARTS 190: AI in Context (Winter)

This winter's ARTS 190 - First-Year Topics in Arts Disciplines introduces students to critical and creative approaches for understanding, contextualizing, and working with Artificial Intelligence. It will provide a foundation in definitions, applications, and perspectives of AI. Course projects will involve experimenting with various Generative AI platforms to understand their differences, evaluate them critically, and apply them creatively and responsibly.

Learn from professors across the six Schools in Arts and build creative and critical projects using AI tools.

ARTS 450: Co-Designing Better Futures - Discovering How AI and Technology Can Benefit Humanity (Fall)

Join fellow students from across campus to explore critical questions about AI through interdisciplinary collaboration and project-based learning. Working with colleagues from other faculties, you will develop projects that engage with the evolving relationship between AI, technology, and society while developing innovative ideas for a more equitable, creative, and human-centred future.
