Pityopsis ruthii

Ruth's Grass-leaved Goldenaster

Pityopsis ruthii (Small) Small is Rare and Endangered (U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service (1976) and listed in the Federal Register). The species occurs in a few locations in Polk Co. in southeastern Tennessee. (see Semple 2006 FNA).
