Welcome to the Project Details page for the UWaterloo Campus Plan—your source for up-to-date information about the future development of the University of Waterloo’s physical environment. This page is designed to provide transparent access to the planning process, ensuring that the campus-at-large is informed and engaged at every stage.
The UWaterloo Campus Plan is a comprehensive framework that will shape the university’s infrastructure, aligning with strategic initiatives such as Waterloo at 100 and Global Futures. The plan reflects our ongoing commitments to sustainability, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and advances our efforts in decolonization and reconciliation by embedding Indigenous-led knowledge building, learning, and design principles.
The project is led by a Project Manager from our Project Management Office, who is guiding this collaborative and transformative initiative. Through careful planning and community engagement, we aim to create a campus that fosters academic excellence, inclusivity, and innovation—building a future-ready environment for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
