Alignment of Magna’s Ergonomics Program with the MSD Prevention Guideline’s 10-step framework, as well as the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology will be highlighted.

About the presenter
Gary Au serves as the Director of the Global Ergonomics Program and Disability Management at Magna International Inc., one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers. Magna operates a vast global network comprising 338 manufacturing facilities and a workforce of over 164,000 employees across 28 countries. With over 22 years of dedicated service at Magna, Gary was the first ergonomist appointed at the corporate level. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in establishing a structured, company-wide ergonomics framework and has been instrumental in driving the implementation of effective ergonomics programs across all manufacturing sites.
Gary is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). He holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science in Ergonomics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Ergonomics Option) from the University of Waterloo.
