Program overview
The CRE-MSD Impact Fellowship is a competitive funding program designed to build Ontario’s capacity for applied MSD prevention research and practice.
The Fellowship provides $12,500 for one academic term (approximately 4 months) to support Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) (undergraduate students, graduate students, research assistants, or post-doctoral fellows) to work on workplace-embedded MSD prevention projects.
Fellows will be jointly supervised by an academic supervisor and a workplace and/or Health & Safety (H&S) system partner to support activities such as:
- Address real-world MSD prevention challenges
- Translate research into practical workplace solutions
- Contribute to the Ontario MSD Prevention Guideline
- Build applied skills and career pathways in OHS
- Coordinate a field research project
