While transferring and repositioning of clients during care continues to be a challenge across all health care sectors, there are actions that can be taken in the workplace to facilitate positive outcomes. This webinar will be of interest to those working in the hospital, long term care and community care health care sectors. It will provide examples of what commonly plagues staff involved in “transfers and repositioning ” by addressing the common myths that exist and illustrating what has and can be done to promote safe client lift and transfer techniques.
This is a free webinar offered through the client/patient handling community of practice (CoP), presented in partnership with CRE-MSD and PSHSA.
