Ongoing Research in Bioplastic Synthesis

Current research is supported by NSERC Alliance as part of the CIRCLE research team. CIRCLE focuses on research into circular bioeconomy and Charles lab contributes research into how waste from agriculture can be used as feedstock for Pseudomonas putida strains which have been engineered to produce bioplastics.
