From performing around the world to working in HR: How this grad's theatre degree led her to live out her performance dreams
Sarah currently works as an HR Coordinator at NDI, leveraging her diverse skill set and educational background. She graduated with a degree in Theatre & Performance and English Literature from the University of Waterloo. Following her graduation, Sarah embarked on an enriching journey with Universal Studios, and traveled the world as a singer.
How has your theatre degree affected your career trajectory?
I find this question intersting because it wasn't my degree that determined my career path; rather, it was my passion for drama that propelled me forward. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human interactions, which is crucial in my line of work. Through drama, I've honed my ability to perceive people's inner workings and discern their capabilities.
