Event Details
On Tuesday, July 28th, 11:00AM–4:00PM, we will be holding our Spring 2026 Computer Museum Open House in the Davis Centre Fishbowl (room number DC1301).
This term's theme is Re-Creations: Clones and Copies. From sequels to remakes, there's much to be had about adaptations. With each adaptation and recreation, there are opportunities to learn more about computers, both old and new. Play with retro computers, encounter interactive exhibits, and discover all sorts of artifacts!
All visitors are welcome! Attendance is free, and there are no sign-ups. Just drop by.
Guest Speaker
Almunus Michael Gardi (B.Math 1982) will be showcasing his latest recreation of the NRI Model 832 based on our original artifact. Michael is an avid maker who has recreated and honoured dozens of computers, gadgets, and trinkets. Check them out on his website, Mike's Makes. The time of the talk is to be announced and will happen during the Open House.
