Alumni Day 2025 pop-up exhibit
The Faculty of Mathematics Alumni Reunion was held June 7, 2025. It celebrated the graduating classes of 1975 and 2000, for their 50th and 25th anniversaries. In honour of those years, we selected artifacts and software from those eras.

- ELIZA chatbot, in the BASIC language (c. 1974) running on a Commodore 64 (try it online)
- Brother Majestic portable manual typewriter, ID: 2019.1.28 (c. 1970s)
- Volker-Craig 404 terminal, ID 2025.6.2, (c. 1978)
- Windows 98se personal computer (c. 1999)
Many people enjoyed learning about ELIZA, playing with the typewriter, and a bit of Minesweeper or Solitaire on the Windows PC.
