Join us on August 11 at the City of Waterloo Museum
From the clickety-clack of old typewriters to the beeps and bloops of retro computers, the University of Waterloo Computer Museum preserves and exhibits artifacts related to the history of computing.
Join us on Tuesday, August 11th, 12:00PM–4:00PM at the City of Waterloo Museum at Conestoga Mall. As part of their 2026 exhibit Iron Willed: Women in STEM, we're setting up a few artifact tables in rain or shine—meaning that in case of rain, we'll be taking our exhibit indoors!
We’ll bring some original typewriters, computers, and video games for visitors to try, plus some activity sheets and colouring pages for all ages! And our museum staff will be there to chat about your first computer, your favourite retro video game, or anything hardware!
