Transforming conflict is challenging, especially in the context of polarization and when emotions run high. This workshop provides tools for navigating polarization, engaging emotions and transforming tough conflicts, alongside big picture themes regarding the relationship between one’s self-understanding and conflict, effective apologies and forgiveness. This workshop builds on Understanding Conflict: Foundations. It is highly interactive, insightful, engaging, and critical for all who wish to deeply understand the nature of conflict and its transformation.

Completion of Understanding Conflict: Foundations is strongly recommended.

This is a required course in the Certificate in Conflict Management for both the Mediation and Congregational Leadership streams.
