Landau Family Scholarship Fund
This award is to honour the legacy of Sy Landau and support and promote training for students who have an interest in Mediation and Dispute Resolution.
Decisions will be based on the following criteria:
- Students who demonstrate interest and involvement in the area of Mediation and Dispute resolution.
- Students who are working actively for constructive social change, giving leadership or have potential to provide leadership through application of Mediation or Dispute Resolution skills and knowledge.
- Students enrolled in the University of Waterloo Peace and Conflict Studies Program (either as undergraduate, graduate) or in the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies Conflict Management Certificate program.
Amount:
Approximately $1,500 will be awarded annually. (Maybe shared with other applicants, typically a minimum of $750)
Application process:
Please submit a one page letter identifying how you meet the award criteria, together with a current resume.
Application deadline: Distributed for 2024-2025.
