Marianne Simm

Director, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs

As Director of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA), Marianne works collaboratively with the teams across GSPA to support our graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. She advises on graduate studies matters, including marketing and recruitment, communications, admissions, enrolment and academic records, theses and examinations, convocation, employment and funding, and University policies and procedures.

Marianne has spent her entire career working in the postsecondary sector and enjoys getting to know students and understanding their stories. Her favourite memories are of attending two former student weddings, both on the beautiful island of Barbados.
