A message from the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute (CPI).
The University of Waterloo Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute (CPI) is thrilled to partner with the C.D. Howe Institute to host a policy conference on “Securing Canada’s Digital Future: The Role of Cybersecurity” that will take place Thursday, September 26 in Toronto.

With AI and machine learning playing an ever-greater role, what policies and strategies are needed to ensure the safe development and deployment of digital technologies that drive growth while also protecting Canadians?
This event, sponsored by Mastercard, will feature top experts in the field, including Sami Khoury (Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security) and Patricia Kosseim (Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario), as well as CPI's very own faculty members: Florian Kerschbaum, Sebastian Fischmeister, and Meng Xu.
Learn more on the CPI website and register on the C.D. Howe Institute website.
