Congratulations to two students from the Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MDSAI) program who have received the Vector Scholarship award! The Vector Institute, headquartered in Toronto, is funded by the governments of Canada and Ontario, and private industry to promote research in artificial intelligence.

MDSAI (Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) is a four-term graduate degree combining coursework and an external co-op position and has been offered by the Faculty of Mathematics since 2019. The program attracted over 1,000 applicants this year, and the Vector scholarship, worth $17,500, is awarded to the very top applicants.
