The week of December 11-15, 2023, Ecohydrology Research Group members presented their research at the 2023 AGU Fall Meeting. This annual conference was held as a hybrid event, with the in-person session taking place in San Francisco. With nearly 24,000 attendees, the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting is the largest Earth and space science meeting in the world.
Ecohydrology Group researchers Philippe Van Cappellen and Fereidoun Rezanezhad organized a session titled “Wetlands and Peatlands in a Changing Climate: Science and Management”, which included oral and poster presentations. (Conveners: Eunji Byun (Yonsei University), Philippe Van Cappellen and Fereidoun Rezanezhad (University of Waterloo))
Ecohydrology Group researchers Philippe Van Cappellen also organized a session titled “Groundwater Quality Sciences: From Hydrobiogeochemistry to One Health” which included poster presentations. (Conveners: Kunfu Pi, Xianjun Xie, and Yamin Deng (China University of Geosciences Wuhan), Yan Zheng (Columbia University of New York), and Philippe Van Cappellen (University of Waterloo))
