This portal presents material that is specific to the needs of the department and its instructors, but it also makes extensive use of material from the University of Waterloo's Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE), which has a range of resources to support instructors at the University. The CTE has produced a university-wide TA manual, Teaching at the University of Waterloo: A Manual for Teaching Assistants (PDF), which contains general information that you might also find useful.
