You’ll get the latest information on funding opportunities, calls for papers, deadlines, and events in and around the department. You can also search for relevant tweets or weigh in with #uwenglish.

Department meetings
Graduate Students are invited and encouraged to attend the open portions of department meetings. There’s no better way to get to know the issues and challenges facing your department and the university as a whole.
SAGE meetings and events
The Student Association for Graduates in English (SAGE) is the organization that represents the issues and concerns of graduate English students to the department. Keep track of the SAGE site, join the SAGE Discord group, attend SAGE’s social or professional development events during the year, or serve on the SAGE executive to plug into your graduate student community.
