From Laban Ayran from Turkey, Sorrel from West Africa, Mango Lassi from India, ginger beer and different flavoured coffees and teas from around the world, there is something for everyone’s taste. 

On May 9th and 10th, 2024, the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University will be hosting the 2024 Inter-Institutional Forum of the Scarborough Charter on Anti-Black Racism and Black Inclusion in Canadian Higher Education. 

On January 18, the Princess Twin Cinema became the stage for an interactive screening of Stephen King’s 'Carrie,' marking a unique approach to sparking conversations around menstruation and challenging societal taboos. The event was hosted by the Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti Racism, the Women’s Centre and Changing the Flow, and was a captivating intersection of horror cinema and societal discourse. 

Non-binary employees and jobseekers are often left out of narratives of gender inclusion in the workplace. This member workshop will address the unique experiences of non-binary employees and jobseekers and what needs to change for their full participation. Utilizing case studies, this practical workshop will provide solutions for cultivating belonging for your non-binary employees and non-binary jobseekers. We will also showcase data from our Transitioning Employers: A survey of policies and practices for trans inclusive workplaces regarding the solutions that employers could pursue to make a fully gender inclusive workplace.
