Dissemination of research results is very important to the University of Waterloo Fire Research Group. Group members have been involved in many specialized workshops and seminars on topics of specific interest to the fire service, fire protection and fire safety engineering communities, including:
- Professional development workshops for fire protection engineers and fire service personnel
- Training seminars, conference presentations and post-scenario debriefings
- Trade and journal articles
- Training workshops on burn facility design for fire chiefs and training officers
