I have read the information presented in the Letter of Information about the research being conducted by Dr. Susan Elliott and Dr. Francesca Cardwellof the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo, Dr. Ann Clarke of the University of Calgary, and Dr. Elijah Bisung of Queens University. I have had the opportunity to ask any questions related to this event, and to receive satisfactory answers to my questions.
Upon completion of the study, the data collected for the research will be deleted or shredded (in Spring, 2020). I am also aware that excerpts from the hackathon may be included in reports or publications that come from this research, with the understanding that the quotations will be anonymous. I am aware that I may withdraw from the study without penalty at any time by advising the researchers of this decision, however the data that I have contributed will not be able to be withdrawn and will remain in the dataset.
