GoHelP lab member Tara Chen (PhD Candidate) presented her doctoral research at the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research, in May 2026. Tara highlighted the following:
At #CAHSPR2026, I had the opportunity to engage with researchers, policymakers, health system leaders and community partners across Canada. The conference reinforced the importance of moving beyond generating evidence to thinking about how research is implemented, adapted, and translated into meaningful change for communities; and thinking about the future- learning health systems.
Her presentation highlighted the value of implementation and knowledge translation in ensuring research leads to meaningful improvements in health systems and community outcomes.
Tara also gratefully acknowledged the support of the CIHR ICS Travel Award, which helped make her participation at the conference possible.
