MA Student
Jon Franchetto is a Master of Arts student in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Dr. Leia Minaker. He completed his BA in Honours Arts and Business (Sociology, with co-op) in 2021, also at the University of Waterloo. Jon’s research is focused on the impact of food access (or lack thereof) on one’s “sense of place” in Waterloo Region. Additional research interests include food justice, community social development, and public services (libraries, transit, etc.).
