Lindsay is a first-year master’s student in the MES planning program at the University of Waterloo. She recently graduated from McMaster University in honours sociology. In her fourth year she was a student intern for CITYLAB Hamilton where she completed several urban planning mini projects. At the end of her term, Lindsay and her group of colleagues completed a successful project on enhancing sustainability practices within multi residential unit buildings alongside CityHousing Hamilton staff members. This project has since been pitched to the CityHousing Hamilton board of directors. This feat led her here to the Faculty of Environment where her interest remains in the implementation and development of green technologies, sustainable infrastructure, and active transportation. She plans to be a positive force in the planning industry, to create greener, innovative, and more sustainable communities for years to come.
