Maha Safwan competed a Master of Arts in Planning at the School of Planning under the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. Maha has also completed her Bachelor of Science Honours in City and Regional Planning at University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. Her broad areas of research interest include the association of environment and global public health, health inequalities and non-communicable diseases.
