The Global Futures Office comprises a lean team that works with campus leaders and their units to advance the goals of the Global Futures Office. The Global Futures Steering Committee adjudicates the Global Futures Fund, providing recommendations to Deans’ Council. The Deans' Council.provides strategic direction and finalizes funding.
The Office reports dually to the President and Provost. The Office is presently led by Fayaz Noormohamed, Executive Director (Interim). ‘Carly Turnbull, Associate Director, Global Futures starts in 2026. Meredith Miller is the Administrative Officer, Global Futures. Carly will focus on shared services, fund management, stakeholder engagement, and governance support while Meredith manages finances, information, logistics, and Office space and materials and supports fund management, meetings, and events.
Dr. Richard Florizone, Special Advisor to the President and Provost, Global Futures, provides strategic input to the foundational developments and key activities of the Global Futures Office.
