Writing regularly helps with productivity and motivation. The Writing Centre is offering weekly group writing sessions for grad students. These loosely-structured events are designed to help grad students connect to a larger writing community, to stay focused, and to keep making writing progress.
Come join your fellow grad students for a delicious community meal. Be sure to bring your grad student ID and get here early as quantities are limited!
Come and jam with new and old friends at the Grad House. Please bring your own instrument if you have one. This is casual opportunity to explore your musical talents in an open and inclusive setting. All skill levels welcome! This is different from Open Mic - less 'performance' oriented, with a casual feel.
Enjoy a nice, hot bowl of delicious and healthy soup, every Wednesday at 6:30PM. Stay for either Trivia Night or Jam Night (alternating every other Wednesday).

A Taste of Oasis: Oasis is a network of Communities of Compassion and Reason for nonreligious people. A Taste of Oasis meets every other Tuesday in the Grad House (5:30 - 7pm) for live music, refreshments, an inspiring TED-like talk (by a faculty member, staff, grad student or community member), and friendship.
