The University of Waterloo Canada Day Planning Committee is looking to get the word out to students to volunteer for Canada Day this year.
I have heard from a colleague that graduate students are gems in our community and so it would be amazing if you would be able to forward the following message to them/ anyone who is interested in volunteering:
Be a part of Canada 150! Get involved in the UWaterloo community this Spring semester, meet a lot of new people and build up your resume with new experiences! University Relations is looking for hardworking, energetic volunteers for our annual Canada Day Celebration held at Columbia Ice Field. Sign up to be an executive volunteer to lead a group of students, or be a part of one of the many teams of volunteers. Food and drink is provided for the day, along with a t-shirt!
