Graduate students can now buy tickets for the Fed Bus, an alternative mode of transportation for University of Waterloo students.
The Fed Bus makes trips to Downsview, McCowan (Scarborough), York Mills, Richmond Hill, London, and Hamilton/Burlington, as well as to Ottawa on the Thanksgiving long weekend. This term, a new route to the St Jacobs Farmers’ Market will be running every Saturday from 8am to 4pm at a cost of $3.00!
The current bus schedules can be viewed here.
One-way tickets are $12.00 and round-trip tickets are $21.00. The cost is $1.00 more than the advertised undergraduate price, as the Fed Bus is subsidized by undergraduates through their Federation of Students fee.
Tickets can be purchased in the Student Life Centre at the Turnkey Desk, which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online ticket purchases are currently not available to graduate students. A valid WatCard is required for buying a ticket and boarding the bus.
