The Graduate Student Association – University of Waterloo is seeking a graduate student with a proven record of leadership and administrative experience for the role of Vice-President.
Qualified candidates are invited to apply by 5pm on Monday, April 24, 2017. Please include your résumé or CV and a cover letter addressing your qualifications and your interest in the position.
Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Interviews will take place during the week of April 24 - 28. The successful candidate will be recommended to the Council and the Board of Directors at their meetings in May.
The Vice-President is expected to work on average 30 hours per week at a rate of $31.93 per hour and will be supported by full- and part-time staff. The term of office is May 1 to April 30.
Interested applicants are expected to demonstrate familiarity with the Association’s bylaws and policies and with social, political, and academic issues affecting graduate students.
